Dossier
A pentagon — five sides, not a hex. The flown face is charred black with the white silica body punched through in a blotch on the left. That is the interior of the tile, not salt. The leading edge is rusted, pitted, and glazed from heat. Photographed on the stand in the studio, with a hundred for scale. This is the lot you hold up when someone asks if it really fell from space.
Silica ceramic. Do not cut, sand, or wet-saw. Handle over a padded surface. Wash hands after handling. Not a toy.
